Challenge
- The existing entrances in the area are not connected conceptually and give a sprawling impression.
- The entrances need to be more welcoming and inspiring for visitors.
Five houses, four streets, two squares and a shopping centre in the middle of Stockholm City – AMF’s project Urban Escape is a new urban space consisting of 130,000 sqm where innovation, knowledge and creativity determines how the neighbourhood is rebuilt and developed. Urban Escape Stockholm is about people, change and building international appeal. It is a strong idea where the starting point is the people who will work, develop, inspire and socialise in the new urban space. At Studio Stockholm we have been commissioned to create a new entrance concept for this new urban world which is currently emerging in Stockholm.
