What an exciting day it was yesterday at Stora Kontorsdagen! Huge congratulations to AMF Fastigheter AB for winning the competition with their ambitious new office project. We at Studio Stockholm Arkitektur are also incredibly proud to have taken both second and third place with our two fantastic projects, Jernhusen AB’s HQ and Miele’s HQ. Out of 106 submissions, two of our projects made it to finals, with Jernhusen AB securing second place and Miele third. Not bad!

Yesterday, March 17, Marco Checchi from Studio Stockholm Arkitektur, Hanna Mossfeldt from AMF Fastigheter AB, Anna Kullendorff from Humlegården Fastigheter AB and Henrik Byström from AI labbet sat in the panel at the Ability Partner conference “Future Office and Work Methods” and delved into the issue of how to increase occupancy and make the office a meeting place that supports new agile working methods. A very interesting day with many great speakers. Thank you Ability Partner and Helene Lidström who moderated the talks.

Fastighetsvärlden’s conference Köpcentrum & Butiker really delivered! High participation and initiated speakers. Both slightly uncomfortable statistics and exciting numbers that Emma Hernell from HUI Research showed. Interesting speakers included Niklas Blonér Skandia Fastigheter Väla, Martin Hallander from ARKIVET Second Hand, Fredrik Mässing CEO Prisma Properties and Thomas Holm CEO Svenska Handelsfastigheter and we learned more about the move of Kiruna from Kajsa Axelsson and Fredrik Elsner from Wester+Elsner arkitekter.

Vanna Gunnarsson from Studio Stockholm Arkitektur, lectured on Placemaking and advised on what to think about and showcased the project: Lidingö Centrum.

There was a lot of energy in the room, and now we look forward to an exciting autumn!

This evening is the grand opening of Mieles new office and showroom in Stockholm! Studio Stockholm Arkitektur has been involved in the entire process, from the start with project planning of the premises and as interior architects for Miele. It’s been a fantastic journey and we are so excited and proud of the result. Feeling extra happy about the artwork made of waste from Mieles own factory created by Hanna Hedman that really ties the space together.

Also a big thank you to LSI Projects who have done a great work delivering all the joinery. But foremost we want to give our utmost gratitude to Miele who have been fantastic partners. Together we have really pushed the boundaries, creating something so different, unique and precise for the brand Miele. A collaboration at its finest.

Looking forward showing the completed project, here comes a sneak peek.
