When the digital marketing agency Wiget Media (www.wigetmedia.com) grew out of its premises on Birger Jarlsgatan we took a big step away from the Swedish office standard. We designed a completely new and grandiose interior concept for their new office on Norrmalmstorg. The result is anything but ordinary.

Challenge

  • A standard office with white walls and a lack of identity.
  • Create a very attractive and inspiring workplace for developers from all over the world.
  • Create an office that reflects the brand’s soul and puts the company on the map.
  • The company is expanding very quickly and may need to move in the near future.
  • Very tight schedule.

Process

  • Design an interior concept based on “This is no ordinary office”. A concept that stands out and takes a big step away from the traditional office design. An unconventional, playful and daring mix of styles, shapes and ages which takes a tight hold and refuses to apologise.
  • Create the sense of a bar and nightclub instead of an office feeling.
  • Develop an environment that allows for individual work, group work and meetings.
  • Produce a creative, stimulating and good physical working environment.

Result

  • The office has become a lounge for employees – a place you where they want to remain after working hours.
  • The office has become a hot topic in the industry and has created hype about Wiget Media as a workplace.
  • The office has received a lot of attention from international customers and has become a place that people want to visit and enjoy.
  • The project reached the final and was awarded second place in the competition “Sweden’s best-designed office in 2016”.
