Studio Stockholm designed Simon-Kucher’s new Stockholm office with the ambition to translate a highly defined global identity into a workplace rooted in Swedish design culture. Located by Hötorget in central Stockholm, the office is closely connected to the surrounding city, with views towards the urban core and its architectural landmarks. The brief was to create an open and flexible environment that reflects the firm’s high-energy consulting culture while offering calm, comfort and clarity for employees as well as clients and visitors. By carefully reinterpreting global brand values, Studio Stockholm shaped an interior that is both internationally consistent and locally grounded.

Challenge
● Interpreting global brand guidelines within a Swedish design context.
● Balancing international professionalism with the character of the building and a Swedish essence.
● Creating a flexible, human-centred workplace that supports focus and collaboration.

Process
● Close alignment with local and global stakeholders to secure brand consistency with room for local interpretation.
● Reworking the global colour palette into tones inspired by Stockholm’s light and facades.
● Bespoke furniture, carpets subtly reflecting the essence of the company.

Result
● A contemporary office that combines global precision with Swedish calm and warmth.
● Flexible spatial settings for different work modes, from focused work to project collaboration.
● A workplace that has become a reference point for Simon-Kucher’s continued office development internationally.
