Red Bull’s Stockholm office, located in the historic Tobaksmonopolet building on Rosenlundsgatan, has been expanded and revitalized to reflect the brand’s energetic and forward-looking character.

When an opportunity arose to expand into the neighboring space, Red Bull turned to Studio Stockholm to seamlessly unite it with its existing office and revitalize key parts of the original. The goal was to create a workplace that fosters growth while reinforcing the overall office experience. The design captures the dynamism and boldness that define Red Bull as a brand, combining expressive, high-energy environments with more refined work zones that foster focus and creativity. A central social hub was placed in the entrance area, equipped with elements like a ping-pong table and a DJ booth, underlining Red Bull’s view that work and play go hand in hand. This creates a cohesive and inspiring setting that supports both concentrated work and social interaction, embodying the company’s culture of innovation and momentum.
Challenge
• Expanding and uniting two office spaces within an industrial building while ensuring architectural and functional cohesion.
• Capturing and expressing Red Bull’s dynamic brand values in a workplace setting, ensuring that the design resonates with both employees and visitors.

Process
• Designing distinct zones that reflect different aspects of Red Bull’s identity: vibrant, neon-infused areas for events and gatherings, and calm, focused environments that encourage deep concentration and creativity.
• Introducing brand-inspired elements such as suspended sports equipment, bold graphic patterns, and playful details that reference Red Bull’s involvement in sports and cultural initiatives.
• Applying a resourceful and iterative design approach, reusing existing materials and prioritizing efficient solutions while maintaining strong character.
Result
• A distinctive workplace identity that conveys Red Bull’s fast-moving and adventurous spirit, while remaining strategically functional and built to last.
• A versatile environment fostering both professional focus and vibrant social life, supporting everything from daily work to after-work events.
• Visually striking with stainless steel, colored mirrors, neon lighting, and graphic veneers, the office is a creative hub where the team can gather, recharge, and have fun.
