When Studio Stockholm was brought on board, the project needed a clear concept, identity, and tenant strategy, despite being technically advanced in its design process and planning. Through a comprehensive process of rethinking, repositioning, and reimagining, we helped shape Infinity into a forward-looking, flexible, and sustainable office destination – one that reflects the needs of a new generation of companies, and the possibilities of a city in motion.
Challenge
• Start with a technically complex building, located atop a tunnel deck and originally defined only by its name, with no clear narrative or identity.
• Develop a clear direction and tenant offer in a brand-new location that is still under construction, with no established neighborhood context.
• Align the building’s positioning with a diverse and shifting target group in a market shaped by post-pandemic demands and economic volatility.
Process
• Led the strategic work to define values and purpose behind the Infinity concept, followed by a complete spatial and visual realignment.
• Influenced core architectural decisions – including circulation, layout, and material upgrades – despite an advanced design phase.
• Shaped a human-centered interior identity using three conceptual layers: Nordic (base materials), Healthy (sustainable functions), and Happy (playful accents and art).
Result
• A distinctive and future-resilient workplace offering, ready to meet the needs of a new generation of tenants in 2027 and beyond.
• Strong market response and recognition of the concept’s strategic clarity, despite a long project timeline and shifting conditions.
• Continued involvement in the project as concept guardians, ensuring consistency and integrity throughout the construction and fit-out phases.
