Maxim Stockholm has been nominated for the Guldstolen Award

March 4, 2026

We are incredibly proud and happy that Maxim Stockholm has been nominated for the Guldstolen Award for Best Interior! Wow, what an incredible honor! This is a project filled with so much heart, sweat, and tears and with such tremendous dedication from our client. What wonderful, passionate people, and what a truly rewarding collaborative project.

Out of nearly 50 submissions, four outstanding projects have been nominated. The nominees are:

– Maxim Stockholm by Studio Stockholm Arkitektur, FREDA arkitekter, Kolbe Arkitektur Anton Kolbe

– Bacchanale, Stockholm by Ateljé Ö and Pål Rodenius

– Natrium, Gothenburg by LINK Arkitektur – Snickeriet, Malmö by Elding Oscarson

The Chair of the Jury, architect SIR/MSA Martin Pålsson, explains how the jury reasoned in selecting projects of different scales:“It was fairly easy to agree on the four nominees, but much more difficult to choose a winner. At some point, all four were in discussion for the top prize.

”Now we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the award ceremony on March 26 at the “Arkitekturgalan”, organized by Sveriges Arkitekter at Sara Kulturhus in Skellefteå.

A big thank you to the jury – and to Maxim, Freda and Kolbe!
