Framtidens Kontor och Arbetssätt
Yesterday, the Ability Partner conference “Framtidens Kontor och Arbetssätt” took place! A high level of engagement from both participants and speakers made for an inspiring day. Carl Rössner from Studio Stockholm Arkitektur and Niklas Mair from Miele gave a presentation on Miele’s new office, which serves as both an integrated showroom and workspace—allowing Miele’s products and operations to take center stage. An inspiring showroom that truly reinforces identity and creates a sense of place. It was exciting to hear Henrik Sköldberg and Pia Orthén from Jernhusen AB share insights about Jernhusen’s new HQ In Stockholm, a project Studio Stockholm has been deeply involved in. A truly forward-thinking project in terms of sustainability and reuse. Moderator Helene Lidström led a dynamic and insightful panel discussion where various perspectives were put to the test. Does the hybrid culture work, or should we even be asking that question? Are we on the right track—or completely off? What role does AI play in workplace development? The panel largely agreed on the big picture. The panel included Maria Zalamans Furenmo ♦️ from Svenska Spel, Hanna Mossfeldt from AMF Fastigheter AB, Henrik Byström from AI-labbet, and Marco Checchi from Studio Stockholm Arkitektur. Our key takeaways from the day:- The importance of active, vibrant spaces and technology for remote work was widely discussed, but we see a need for a broader conversation on hybrid work and the interface between technology and the physical office.- Leverage expertise and collaboration. Let people focus on what they do best and ensure collaboration works.- A high degree of variety in workplace typologies is essential. We leave the conference inspired by openness, engaging discussions, and the belief that together, we can shape a more sustainable, adaptive, and diverse work environment for people!
