Construction Summit

March 26, 2025

Collaboration, Sustainability, and Confidence – three words that defined BONNIER Events ”Construction Summit”!The day was filled with inspiring speakers, engaging roundtable discussions, and a clear message: Our construction industry must have greater confidence in itself and showcase innovations to spread knowledge and speed up the transformation. – Svante Axelsson (Fossil-Free Sweden) reminded us of the importance of highlighting our sustainability efforts – we need to show young people that we take climate responsibility seriously.- Tora Leifland (Volvo CE) pointed to Oslo as a role model, where fossil-free construction projects are a requirement.- Magnus Persson (CEO, Skanska Sweden) emphasized that the transition is necessary.Another interesting discussion was held by Angela Berg, Business Area Manager for Projects at Atrium Ljungberg, Johan Jenny Ehrenberg, Founder and CEO of ETC Bygg and Anders Pettersson Architect at Arkitekterna Krook & Tjäder AB Gothenburg, about innovative and forward-thinking projects. They covered topics such as reuse and new technologies. Very interesting! When the audience was asked, “What is the biggest sustainability challenge right now?” the answer was clear: The economy.Perhaps the most energizing speaker was Sara Wimmercranz who encouraged the industry to embrace curiosity and truly understand customer needs. What an inspiring person, with such a positive and creative approach!  We also want to congratulate all the winners of Årets Bygge! Wow! Great work.Next year, we’ll be submitting some of our fantastic projects! Let’s keep pushing for change!
