Studio Stockholm Arkitektur Welcomes Five New Team Members

June 18, 2024

Studio Stockholm Arkitektur continues to grow and is now recruiting five new team members. “I’m both proud and humbled that, despite the current uncertainty in the industry, we continue to see strong demand for our services. Our ability to grow like this is a clear testament to the trust we’ve built with our clients and the collective expertise within the studio,” says Marie Holmberg, Studio Director.

Studio Stockholm Arkitektur was founded in 2014 with the ambition to offer a modern alternative to traditional architecture firms, focusing on balancing creative excellence with business insight to create architecture that genuinely contributes to clients’ success. Since then, the studio has grown steadily and now collaborate with well-known brands like King, Klarna, and EQT and big transformation projects as FENIX and Brädstapeln. They are now further enhancing their team with five new members:

Karin Westerberg starts as Interior Architecture. She has a background in interior architecture and furniture design from Konstfack and has previously worked at Reform with Reflex Arkitekter.

Charlotte Svensson joins as Architect. She holds a master’s in architecture from LTH. She most recently worked at DAP and brings experience in both architecture and interior architecture. Her past projects include offices and private housing. Besides architecture, she loves to spend her time with yoga, to travel and to discover different cultures. A curiosity about her is that she speaks 6 languages fluently.

Shafagh Uppman joins as Architect. She most recently worked at Liljewall Architects and brings experience in both architecture and urban planning. Her past projects include offices, educational facilities, and public spaces, with particular expertise in complex renovations of culturally significant buildings. At Studio Stockholm, Shafagh will focus on commercial real estate and office projects.

Linn Fredlund starts as Interior Architect. She holds a Master’s in Interior Architecture from Konstfack and has previously worked with Olsson Lyckefors Architects, Wingårdhs, Nordiska Galleriet, and Koncept. A furniture designer as well, Linn has created products for VERK. At Studio Stockholm, she will contribute to a range of projects, with a particular focus on office environments.

Giulio Zanetti starts as Architect at Studio Stockholm. Giulio been with us for a long time as a consultant and finally decided to settle with us. With his burning interest for transforming properties into magic places and with his skills in design and plan layout we welcome him to our team.

It’s fantastic to welcome Karin, Charlotte, Shafagh, Linn and Giulio to Studio Stockholm. With several large and exciting projects ahead of us, we’re thrilled to continue growing with such talented new colleagues, says Marie Holmberg.
