Studio Stockholm Arkitektur in Nacka Strand
Studio Stockholm Arkitektur has been commissioned by TAM Group to develop a new showroom concept for Agenturföretagen. The contract covers approx. 8,000 sqm.
Stockholm Showrooms is an important addition to the Stockholm Fashion District, which today is already established in Nacka Strand. The mission is to create an arena for the fashion industry, where there will be room for a mixture of workspaces, showrooms, meeting areas and fairs. It will create good opportunities for synergies between about 50 tenants, which is important for the industry.
“When we realised that we needed an architect with extensive experience in the fashion and shopping centre industry, we commissioned Studio Stockholm to work together with us and Agenturföretagen to design and participate in the development of this new showroom house”, says Owe Löfquist at TAM Group.
“We thrive in this role where we are the connection between the various stakeholders. In this case, the property owners, trade associations and tenants. It is also here we can benefit from our joint expertise within retail, property development and interior concepts. We have created a graphic concept that will help to strengthen all these brands moving into Stockholm Showrooms”, says Alessandro Cardinale, a partner and project architect at Studio Stockholm Arkitektur.
“Studio Stockholm Arkitektur has shown great sensitivity and understanding of the fashion industry’s needs and internal mechanisms. This, combined with Alessandro’s solid experience and intuition, creates the best conditions for our customers to be successful”, says Helena Waker, CEO at Agenturföretagen.
Occupancy of Stockholm Showrooms will begin in December 2015, and the inauguration will take place during Stockholm Fashion Week in February 2016.
