Studio Stockholm is strengthened with more astute employees

January 13, 2015

Studio Stockholm continues to expand. The most recent staff members to join us are just the latest additions to Studio Stockholm’s powerful expansion.

David Gryth was previously the office manager of Sandell Sandberg’s Malmö office. Before that he worked many years as an account manager and creative director at Arkitema in Copenhagen. At Sandell Sandberg architects, David was responsible for Creuna’s new office furnishings in Stockholm and Sveriges Expo Paviljong 2012 in Yeosu, South Korea.

“Studio Stockholm is perceived as an office with broad expertise where curiosity, motivation and established creative processes are part of the system. My decision to choose Studio Stockholm is consistent with the vision that I have of the architect profession, and how I see the role of an architect developing in the future. I look forward to being involved in Studio Stockholm’s continued success”, says David Gryth.

Sonya Simmonds previously worked as a project managing architect at BAU, where she worked primarily with Mall of Scandinavia. Before that, Sonya gained extensive experience from several architectural offices in London, with projects commissioned by companies such as Bloomberg, the Discovery Channel and JP Morgan.

“I’m really happy to be working at Studio Stockholm. It is a young and fast-growing company that maintains a high quality of work and a proactive customer focus. The working environment is vibrant and enthusiastic and I feel that my experience and knowledge really comes into its own here”, says Sonya Simmonds.

“David’s extensive experience in managing complex projects and Sonya’s experience of ambitious customers fits perfectly in regards to the formation of our team. We have experienced remarkable growth since our inception in April 2014. We have a very positive outlook for the future and we need to continue to recruit”, says Carl-Michael Bonde, a partner at Studio Stockholm Arkitektur.
